Workflows versus Scripts!

Today I sat down for a conversation with Matt Dahse, author of NetSuite Development With SuiteScript 2.0, in which we discussed our perspectives on when to use Workflows and when to use Scripts.

We each have very different perspectives on this; namely, I am very much of the mind to write scripts by default, while Matt considers scripts “the nuclear option.”

Naturally, we recorded this conversation, and it will be available on Matt’s channel later this week. I’ll of course send out the link when it’s ready.

In the mean time, we would love to hear from you about your ideas for topics you’d like to hear a panel of experts discuss. We very much enjoyed our time, and we’d love to have more conversations like this one, but only if you find them interesting!
