Resources for Newbies

With this week’s theme of writing your very first script, I thought I would pass along a few more good resources for getting started in JavaScript.

I’d also like to point you at another good mailing list I’ve come across recently. Chris Ferdinandi writes short, daily JavaScript tips over at https://gomakethings.com/. It’s not related to NetSuite at all, but remember that a good JavaScript foundation is also a good SuiteScript foundation.

Lastly, this is a must-have NetSuite Customization book written by my colleague Matt Dahse. It spans more than just SuiteScript and should be an essential tool for any NetSuite administrator, developer, or power user.
