“I am a SuiteScript Developer”

Confidently state it to yourself – every single day – loud and proud or calmly in your head, however fits the vision you have of the person you want to be.

“I am a SuiteScript Developer.”

Real learning, true growth, and lasting change all come not from the arbitrary goals we set but from how we identify ourselves and the habits we build to support that identity. So if you’re not there yet, but you want to be a confident, competent SuiteScript Developer, then start by identifying yourself as one. Every day:

“I am a SuiteScript Developer.”

No matter where you’re at in your SuiteScript journey, but especially when you’re just getting started, it’s going to get challenging. There will be days where nothing works, where you can’t see the solution, where you can’t find the answer, where NetSuite just !@#$$%^&*()(*&*^Y %$$$$$ $&^$#^%$&^%!!!!. Especially on those days:

“I am a SuiteScript Developer.”

Tell yourself, then *act* like a SuiteScript developer would.

When you’re stuck – and you will get stuck – stand up and ask yourself, “What would a SuiteScript Developer do?”

When you can’t see the solution – and they can be elusive – go for a walk and ask yourself, “Where would a SuiteScript Developer look?”

When you don’t know where to turn – and many days you won’t – grab a bite to eat and ask yourself, “Who would a SuiteScript Developer ask?”

You are a SuiteScript Developer, and you can do this.

When you can’t find the answers, when you’re completely stuck, when you’re just plain fed up, I’m always here for you.
