When it comes to our work, we all have to deal with distractions all the time. Whether from our bosses, our family, our friends, our phone, our email inbox, we all get distracted.
Today I have been dealing with one such distraction. I won’t bore you with the details, but it has delayed my typical video recording efforts. This week’s video should be out later tonight or tomorrow.
If we are to be productive at all, we have to draw the line somewhere on these distractions. Whether it’s closing down the email inbox for a few hours, shutting off the cell phone, or simply moving to a quiet space with headphones on, what are your strategies for warding off distractions when you really need to focus?
