The SuiteScript Career - Habitual Learning
Created: November 15, 2020
Last week I wrote about the qualities I'd look for when hiring a Junior Developer. One of those qualities was:
Habitual Learner
You make time every day to see, hear, or read something new in your chosen field.
The crucial piece there is to make learning habitual - to be intentional about scheduling time to actively seek out new material, and to fiercely defend that time from distractions.
Reading should be a large portion of that learning, and one of the most influential programming books of all time is The Pragmatic Programmer.
I cannot recommend this book highly enough for aspiring software developers seeking to lead an exceptional career.
